Your First Visit
Your first visit is the most important. It is where you will establish a baseline for your chiropractic care plan. It is important to complete all paperwork as accurate as possible and to the best of your ability. The more information your doctor has, the better they will be able to guide you in your journey to optimal health. Your first visit is also a great time to ask as many questions as you need to understand the benefits of chiropractic care.

New Patient Check-In
Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete your new patient forms and check in with our front desk. You can also access your new patient forms online and complete them before your appointment. If you are using insurance, the front desk will ask for your insurance card and license. We encourage all patients to bring your previous X-Rays or MRI's to the first visit.

Consultation and Examination
You'll meet with your doctor for an initial exam. Your reflexes and flexibility will be tested to determine a foundation for your care. We don't take X-Rays in our office, and we only request them if the doctors findings deem it necessary. After your exam, you will review your paperwork and discuss your health concerns, treatment plans and goals for chiropractic care with your doctor.

Treatment
With your consent, your doctor will adjust your body as needed based on exam findings and your initial complaint. If needed, your doctor may provide nutritional counseling as it relates to exam findings. It is important to drink a lot of water and allow your body to rest after your first adjustment. If you have never been adjusted before, your body will be processing the new alignment.

Care Plan
After treatment, your and your doctor will consider your goals and determine an appropriate care plan for you going forward. Every care plan is different depending on the person, but can include practicing healthy habits, exercising, supplement recommendations and future appointments. The main goal of a chiropractor is to help you achieve optimal wellness within your body.
